SOULSOURCE DJ Soulsource (civil name: Andreas Wenger) started as a Hip Hop DJ in the mid-eighties. In that early phase of his career he already experienced highlights as support DJ of impressive acts like Dee Lite, Run DMC, Young Disciples / Carleen Anderson and Gang Starr. In the mid-nineties Soulsource discovered jungle music, which he became passionately addicted to. His extraordinary technical skills, which he developed during the time as a Hip Hop DJ, and the outreagous creativity in his sets, helped him to establish himself quickly as one of the most wanted drum and bass DJs Switzerland-wide. During the past 8 years he played alongside international drum and bass headliners like LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad, Kemal and Rob Data, Suv, Wacko, Roni Size and MC Tali, Dillinja and Lemon D, Matrix, Pascal, J Majik, Goldie and many more. In the last year also the foreign country became attentive to DJ Soulsources talent and so he was booked to play in Porto, Prague, Munich and Cologne. At present DJ Soulsource works with the renowned producer Tim B. from the Major Boys on own tracks and remixes. Stay tuned!
